A native of Mooresville, Mark has practiced law in our community since 1990. Mark’s practice is oriented heavily toward civil and criminal trial work, including business litigation, personal injury, highway/utility right-of-way condemnations, mediations and collaborative family law. He has handled matters in the North Carolina District and Superior Courts, the North Carolina Business Court, the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court. Mark has also taught courses in business and real estate law, as well as instructed other lawyers in the subject of DWI defense.
In addition to his busy law practice, Mark currently serves as an officer or board member of various local charitable institutions, including Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, Hope of Mooresville (which provides short-term housing to homeless women with children), and HealthReach Community Clinic (a free medical clinic serving southern Iredell County). His past community service includes serving as an officer or board member of the Mooresville/South Iredell Chamber of Commerce, the Mooresville/Lake Norman United Way, Our Towns Habitat for Humanity, the local advisory board of Citizens South (now South State) Bank, and the Mooresville Jaycees.
